Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

LayerRail (“we”, “us”) builds an open control plane for cloud infrastructure. This policy explains what data we collect when you use layerrail.com and the hosted console, and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide (email, name, organization).
  • Project and resource metadata necessary to operate the control plane.
  • Billing information processed via Polar.sh (we do not store full payment card details).
  • Usage and technical logs required for reliability, security, and evidence generation.

How we use information

  • To provision and manage resources on your behalf.
  • To generate deployment passports and usage records.
  • To provide billing, invoices, and spend controls.
  • To improve the service and respond to support requests.

Data sharing

We share the minimum necessary with our infrastructure providers (currently Linode) and Polar for billing. We do not sell your data. Passports contain only the metadata required for auditability.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data. Self-hosted installations give you complete control over data.
